What is Shockwave?
A revolutionary, non-invasive treatment that brings patients back to health sooner!!
How does it work?
Shockwave sessions are usually about 5 minutes long and provide successful relief from pain and improved mobility. Relief typically begins very shortly following the treatment. Most patients require about 3-4 treatments and there is no downtime for recovery.
Shockwave Therapy accelerates the healing process in the body by stimulating the metabolism and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue.
Strong energy pulses are applied to the affected area for short periods of time creating stimulation of the cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing.
Shockwave can not be used if you:
- Are currently pregnant
- Have a pacemaker
- Have had cancer
